It really showed me how there are still kind people in this world and that people do appreciate your kindness. I remember once i paid for a kids ice cream at our homecoming fair and the kid ended up being a child of a staff member who paid me back double what I had paid for her kid. Also the social scene at the school is up and down with some people talking of toxic people and drama while other people being kind, doing amazing things and never complaining about an issue.
