You will probably start to notice changes pretty much within twenty four hours after not hvaing the jab, i certainly did anyway!īasically i was on the contraceptive implant for a few months, i had irregular bleeding but nothing like a normal period at the time. I was told the depo would be really good.i was basically told all the benefits dozens of times but the negatives were just brushed over quickly and ".you know everyone is different so it may not affect you like this"!!!!!!! He keeps asking if im okay but i have no reason to be unhappy so im gueaaing it is related to the jab.

Depo shot skin#
And my skin is shocking, like another post said i dont even remember it being this bad when i was younger! I hope it sorts itself out soon. I've been getting a lot of cramps and nausea. Now i have stopped using it my appetite has more or less returned to normal. Whilst on it i gained a lot of weight as my appetite just seemd to get out of control. I didnt have my last jab in November for some of the reasons you have highlighted. Just take it one day at a time! Hopefully you won't have such a hard time coming off it as some of us have. Also don't be surprised if you find yourself feeling depressed (get some St John's Wart in.it may help!) You may also experience hair loss, even if thus far ON the injection you haven't. Don't be surprised if you find yourself thinking that you're pregnant (even if you're not having sex!) or that you think you're having a miscarriage.those are 'normal' symptoms post-depo.Įven though you say EPO didn't do much for you before, your body may be different now and it could help balance your hormones, making them a bit less erratic while you're going through this. My skin was worse than it was when I was a teen.hormones all over the place (mad one minute, crying and depressed in the next).cramps didn't mind coming back right away, unfortunately. For me, the months after coming off it I was a mess.I'll be honest! It took me 6 months to get a period (though I did have a 3 week bleed at around 4 1/2-5 months).
